We chose this hotel based on location, cost. We will be returning because of the amazing ladies at the front desk. The room was dated as other reviewers have mentioned. However, it was cleaned everyday and we found the bedding and linens to be in good condition and tear/stain free. The room was huge. A sitting area had 2 chairs and a table, with plenty of room for luggage. The TV was a nice flat screen with lots of channels and WiFi box was in the room. The signal was excellent. We also had a phone. We opted not to ask for a fridge, but ice was available when needed. There was no safe, we felt comfortable not having one. Based on the room description, we thought we had a balcony. We did not, but it wasn't an issue as the room walked right down to the pool. The pool was a decent size, with lots of seating. Diane at the front desk booked a scuba trip for us. It was amazing. One phone call, and it was done. They showed up on time and we paid at the dive centre. No question or request was too much trouble and whoever was working stopped everything to help us. The hotel was nice and quiet, except for a few hours at night. We heard club music pretty loud, but it only lasted a few hours at most. Didn't ruin our sleep, and had nothing to do with the hotel. The air conditioning was great! We had to turn it off a few times, it was too cold. It did keep the music noise out though. Beach was right across street. 5mins walk to downtown. We will be back!
My wife and I stayed here for four nights in July 2009. It was really nice, standard little hotel which was great for our limited budget. The place is really quite, (we didn't see anyone else there even though they had about 15 other guests). We had the pool to ourselves every night.
This was our second trip to this hotel. Last year I went with my wife and this year we returned with the kids. It was great both times. The staff is very helpful and able to answer questions about almost anything. The room we stayed in both times is like a one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen. The bed is comfortable and they clean the rooms very well every day. The location is amazing. It is on a more secluded part of the island and the water is clear, clean, and usually calm. One of the things we liked about this location is that most of the time, except weekends and holidays, there are very few people around including on the beach. It is like having your own little piece of paradise. You do not have to put up with the cruise ship crowds or the busy resorts. Just pure relaxation. The snorkeling near the resort is alright but is better if you make the short trip to the jetty. Also, I would suggest renting a car for the week in case you want to venture around the island. A trip to Nassau for 2 will cost $80 round trip and a rental car is only about $350 for the week. There is also a lot to see around the island and many places it is great to stop and take in the moment or take some pictures. I will caution that if you want a party crowd or love the resort and fine dining this may not be the place for you. If relaxing and enjoying some swimming, snorkeling, sitting on the beach feeling calm and not being bothered you will love this place as we did. We plan on a return trip

Nassau Palm was a great pick! The location is excellent for everything you need. Everyone at the hotel from front desk to Security was pleasant, helpful and assisted with pleasure if you needed them. The air conditioning was good, bed and sheets were ok, bathroom was good. The CARPET is awful. We learned fast to not walk bare foot in the room. They can definitely afford to invest in new carpeting! All of the natives are friendly. Bahamas and Nassau Palm is a great vacation!! Be sure to visit Atlantis! Tip:go at nite, its less crowded, you will be amazed at the aquarium, its more beautiful with all the lights and great shopping and food are all there. You will definitely go to the Fish Fry area....TWIN BROTHERS FOOD & GRILL MASTER FOOD IS OFF THE CHARTS!!!! I get goose bumps thinking about it. LOL Nassau Palm is a ok stay, but if you can afford the Hilton which is not far...stay at the Hilton.
