"Our main aim was to climb mount Tai and this hotel was a good place to stay the night. The location was good, food was available on the streets below and the railway station was very close. Also the bus to TaiShan went right in front. The room was the most comfortable we had stayed in, in China and the price was good. The internet worked well."

"If you are from the UK, Think Premier Inn or Travellodge with Bamboo and Marble flooring and you'll have a decent idea of what this hotel is like. I suspect that somebody has slipped over in the bathrooms at some point, as the bathrooms were clearly very nice wet rooms before they were retrofitted with a rubber bump strip around the marble counter and a shower cubicle. Still it was clean and the beds were firm but comfy, I would stay there again."

"Turned up with my Expedia confirmation. They had no booking and didn't seem to know who Expedia was. Rang head office but no booking? Nothing I could do except look for another hotel at 10:00pm after traveling for 18 hours. I have a translator so this was not a translation issue. "

"Great hotel next to the train station. Several food options next to the hotel, hence easy to find breakfast - One opens 24hrs, the other open from 6am. Room was functional, nothing extravagant. Bathroom was clean though. Heater and airconditioning works at the room. Note that overseas card - Visa/master is not accepted at this location. Would have been good if it was stated upfront."

"Arrived and had trouble checking in. Took a while, the staff don't know how to register foreigners, only locals. I was given a "non-smoking" room with no windows. Musty, moldy smell but i was only there for one night and had to get out to meet a friend so i didn't fight it. After i got back i took a shower, the new bathroom isn't plumbed correctly and the shower glass leaks water everywhere. I was awoken at 3am to the room reeking of low quality cigarette smoke.
