Know before you book

  • Participants must not weight more than 250 pounds (113 kg) and must be able to fit harness, helmet and all required equipment.
  • Participants must have reasonably good health. People with conditions such as high blood pressure, seizure disorders, pulmonary problems (including asthma), coronary disease, muscle-skeletal problems, back/neck/shoulder pain, problems with balance, panic to altitudes is not is not recommended to go.
  • Should be able to climb straight up ladders and walk 5 to 10 minutes uphill and over irregular ground.
  • Minimum height to participate is 4 feet and 8 inches
  • Participants must be capable to see, listen, understand and follow Rain Forest Staff instructions, including the safety rules.
  • A minimum of 4 persons is required for this activity to take place. There is a possibility of cancellation if the minimum is not met after receiving instant confirmation, an alternative date, tour or full refund will be offered.
  • Please arrange pickup from your San Juan hotel or a nearby location when you call to confirm your reservation.

What you can expect

Experience real adrenaline and adventure in our amazing Zipline Adventure Tour in the foothills of El Yunque Rainforest. Fly among and above the rainforest in the exciting canopy zip-line course in the country while immersing yourself inside the rainforest and experiencing first hand why Puerto Rico is the best Adventure and Eco-tourism destination in the world. Once at the Zipline location, the guides will help you with your gear, harness, helmet and hand gear in preparation for your aerial adventure. A short 10 minute walk in this amazing natural rainforest will bring you to the start of the excursion where you will once again be instructed on the zipline method.

The Zipline Adventure tour consists of 5,000 feet of cable divided in 8 different sections, each strategically located within the rainforest canopy. Movement from point A to point B is by gravity using double wire cables (each capable of withstanding 2,000 pounds of weight, the requirement for this tour truly has nothing to do with weight but with the size of the safety equipment) are used for the ultimate safety. All landing platforms are equipped with safety gear, handrails and guides that are there to meet your next landing as well as to ensure your personal safety throughout the tour.

You'll gaze over the different ecosystems of the El Yunque National Rainforest and see everything that it has to offer.
