Meet your guide and begin your tour of Jozani Forest, a national park that covers about 50 square kilometres. Learn about the park's history and the local flora and fauna as you walk through the forest.
See the red mahogany trees, eucalyptus, and different types of palm trees. Hear about the medicinal properties of different plants and leaves and learn how local women have used palm leaves for weaving for many years.
On the other side of the park, see troops of red colobus monkeys jumping from one branch to another in search of young leaves for food and moisture. Walk through the swamp forest and the boardwalk into the mangroves.
