Day 1: Depart Lijiang early in the morning and head to the Yi Village Observation Deck, where you'll overlook the mountains and villages and experience the ethnic customs. We'll then arrive at the mysterious and romantic paradise on earth, Shangri-La. Next, we'll see the Moon Bay of the Jinsha River, winding like silk between the mountains. Crossing the Baima Snow Mountain Pass is a tremendous challenge both physically and mentally, but standing there overlooking the majestic snow-capped mountains will surely leave you exhausted. The pristine white peaks and lush forests showcase the wonders of nature. Finally, we'll arrive at Feilai Temple to admire the magnificent sunrise over the Meili Snow Mountain.
Day 2: Early in the morning, we'll admire the magnificent sunrise over the Meili Snow Mountain from the Feilai Temple Observation Deck. Afterwards, we'll travel by car to Ninong and begin our hike to Yubeng Village. The hike continues along the Ninong Grand Canyon, flanked by steep cliffs. This sun-drenched path, carved into the cliff face by ancient people, leads to the secrets of Yubeng. After a three-and-a-half-hour hike, we reach the supply point and rest. We then continued along the road to Yubeng, enjoying breathtaking scenery along the way. Upon arrival at the Yubeng Village Inn, we checked in and enjoyed some free time.
Day 3
After breakfast, we departed the lodge and journeyed through high-altitude primeval forest and rhododendron bushes. After nearly two hours of hiking, we crossed the Narong Laya Upper Pass at 3,900 metres and arrived at the Yubeng River Valley. Passing through a pristine pine forest, we reached the smallholder base camp at 3,800 metres. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and a short rest to replenish our energy for the journey ahead. We then headed to the glacial lake at 4,100 metres. We began our descent around 2:00 PM, arriving back in Yubeng Village around 6:00 PM.
Day 4
In the morning, the smoke from cooking fires curled up in Yubeng Village, creating a tranquil and serene scene, like a beautiful painting. The journey from Yubeng Village to the Shen Waterfall passes through primeval forest, a breathtaking natural oxygen bar. The fresh air was invigorating and refreshing. Afterwards, we'll hike through pristine forests and alpine meadows to reach the Shennv Peak and admire the breathtaking views of Shennv Peak and Wuguan Peak. This experience will purify both body and soul. Afterwards, we'll return to Yubeng Village and check into our hotel.
Day 5
Departing from Yubeng Village, we'll follow a winding path deep into the Ninong Grand Canyon before hiking out of Yubeng Village. The canyon's surging rivers and towering peaks create breathtaking scenery. We'll then drive to Benzilan for lunch. This tranquil and beautiful town captivates with its unique Tibetan culture and customs. Finally, we'll return to Lijiang via Shangri-La, arriving around 8 PM. It's recommended to book a return bus for the next day.
