What you can expect

SEASONAL TOUR-APRIL THROUGH OCTOBER (Saturdays at 2 pm and Sundays at 11 am)

Great 2.5 hour music-focused tour around the quiet town of Woodstock, NY and the restored and historic Bearsville Centre complex!

Rock Junket's popular walking tour of Woodstock, NY is better than ever! Begin your tour at Peace, Love and Cupcakes where you can grab a rock n' roll cupcake while soaking up the atmosphere in the original site where Bob Dylan hung out in the 60s. See the infamous White Room where Dylan composed legendary songs. Then explore the small town with the loud history on a light, flat walk. Hear stories, see album cover locations, hear about historic venues and pay respects at final resting places of Woodstock legends. Then follow along down the country road for a short drive to Bearsville Centre (1/4 mile) and tour the area where Bob Dylan manager Albert Grossman set up his empire, fuelling the Woodstock music scene. Hang at Bearsville Centre after your tour to see a show, have dinner or get a drink at this vibrant spot.

Highlights of the tour include sites related to:
Bob Dylan, The Band, Janis Joplin, Todd Rundgren, Jimi Hendrix, Muddy Waters, Van Morrison, Final Resting Places and more!

Tour Start: Peace, Love & Cupcakes, 59 Tinker Street (park in the Comeau Drive free car park, entrance across from Woodstock police station at 76 Tinker Street) Turn at the police station and make a right at parking sign and enter the free car park.
Tour End: Bearsville Centre, 291 Tinker Street (Guests must provide their own transport from Woodstock to Bearsville Center-one road, 4 minutes, free parking)

Tour duration-approximately 2.5 hours. Tour day/time-Saturday- 2 PM and Sundays at 11 AM (April through October)

Note that the 1969 Woodstock Festival site (60 miles away) or The Band house Big Pink, are not part of the tour. Too far out, man. Also tours of the Bearsville Theatre are subject to availability, and are not part of the advertised tour.
