What you can expect

By popular request this tour includes now the roof-terrace and the dome of the Reichstagsbuilding if booked in time and access is official granted. When I was in my thirties and forties I was working for the Federal Construction Company Berlin. As a private organised but public owned corporation we built the new chancellery, the new office- and committee-houses of the German Parliament and we renewed the Reichstag, in total an investment of 1.8 Billion Euro in 7 years. I did run the office of the CEO and the CFO, so all strategic decisions passed over my desk. I will explain to you the urban planning, the architectural competitions and the construction stories. Last but not least I was responsible for all art projects in the buildings. No one knows these stories as well as me. For access to the roof-terrace and the dome of the Reichstagsbuilding please book in time and let me know by E-Mail the first- and surname and birthdates of all participants, so I can log you in to the official Bundestag administration list. Please be aware that there is no guarantee for the access because it may depend on actual sessions or other political restrictions. The other governmental and parliamental buildings are not accessible for tourists but only by invitation of the MPs.
