Whitsundays Tall Ship Sailing & Snorkelling Cruise

by Whitsundays Sailing Adventures Duration 8h Free cancellation available No booking or credit card fees
per adult Price is £109

Explore the wonders of the tropical Whitsundays aboard a traditional timber tall ship as you sail around the sheltered waters of the Great Barrier Reef. Explore secluded beaches, snorkel to see exotic marine life, and sail among turtles, tropical fish and a multitude of coral.

Jump on board the tall ship Derwent Hunter and depart from Airlie Beach on an award-winning voyage to secret spots along the breath-taking coast. In this lesser-explored part of the reef, turtles are in abundance and the variety of marine life is astonishing. During cooler months, whale sightings are almost an everyday occurrence and dolphins sometimes enjoy swimming alongside the bow of the ship.

The magnificent vessel visits 2 premier snorkelling locations in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Go on an eco-tour, snorkelling and swimming among the fringing coral reefs of the Whitsundays. Spend some time ashore at Langford Island Reef enjoying the warm white sand. Snorkel straight off the beach, learn about the incredible biodiversity of the area with your dedicated ship crew and of course, relax.

Relaxing sailing on a beautiful 72 year old Tall Ship. Crew were very experienced and great keeping us informed about the history of the ship, the Whitsundays and Eco talks. You get to join in putting up the sails which was great fun. A lovely days sailing but was disappointed with snorkelling due to the tides making the water murky.

What a beautiful way to spend a day, sailing on a a gorgeous old boat and snorkeling on a reef teeming with fish, delicious lunch, cold drinks and amazing staff. Highly recommended!

Great crew who know and love the boat they are on. Plenty of time to see the reefs and islands. A great day for swimmers and non swimmers.
