This is a typical itinerary for this product

Leaving Cape Town towards the coast. Starting our journey into the whale coastline will take us past some of South Africa's best-known townships. The first one Langa is the oldest township in South Africa dating back to 1823. Compared to other squatter-like townships. Khayelitsha is Xhosa for ' Our New Home'. Situated 20 minutes east of Langa. Measuring 10 square miles and inhabiting more than half a million people. It is the biggest and most populous township in Cape Town but the second biggest township after Soweto in Johannesburg. Macassar was named after Yusuf- Al Makasari who was in prison on Robben Island and banished to Macassar, passed by Somerset West, Strand, and stopped at Goldon's Bay very well known for its two harbours.

Pass By: Pringle Bay, Pringle Bay, Overstrand, Overberg District, Western Cape

Take a long drive past Pringle Bay, Pringle Bay has a long history dating back to the stone age, it's named by the royal naval commander chief called Thomas Pringle, and drives past Fisherhaven, Elgin known to be the largest Apple growing town, and through Betty's Bay situated on the south western coastline.

Stop At: Harold Porter National Botanical Gardens, Clarence Drive, Betty's Bay South Africa

Harold Porter National Botanical Garden Nature Reserve which was purchased by 3 businessmen and later subdivided into 3 Land to see the 10 hectares for fynbos, bird species and baboons can be spotted. A quick stop for 30 minutes.

The travellers will make their way to Hermanu's new harbour. Upon arrival at Hermanus's new Harbour, travellers can opt for 2 hours boat ride for a closer look( Own expense) travellers will be provided with a 15 to 20 minutes safety Briefing as well as what they will be expecting once they sail out the sea, travellers will be given the full details about the whale's behaviour of the southern right whales & humpback whales as too why they come to our shores during June until mid-December, the boat capacity 80 people in total. NB: The Whale watching boat trip is weather permitting, The boat trip lasts for approximately 2 hours. Please note that entry tickets to the Whale Watching boat trip are excluded or travellers can do the land base whalewatching. please refer to what's not included. The travel from Harold Porter to Hermanus new harbour and boat trip will last about 3 hours.

Duration: 3 hours

Travellers will be heading to Hermanus town very well known as the whale's capital with the famous southern right whales, you will stand on the coastal cliffs and watch as giant whales swim, frolic, and calf in the warm waters off this cliffside. Travellers will chance to have Lunch at the restaurant where whales can be spotted at the same time while having Lunch and shopping before heading back to Cape town.
