What you can expect
The waters of the western Cape teem with marine life – discover the creatures that live above and below the surface on this guided boat tour. At one of the world's premier spots for whale watching, your onboard experts will track them so you get the chance to glimpse the beasts of the deep.
From Kleinbaai Harbour, cruise out into some of the richest waters in the marine world. Head for Dyer Island, just offshore, and observe the large colony of African penguins along with a multitude of other bird species. On neighbouring Geyser Rock resides a 60,000-strong community of fur seals – watch them basking on their isle.
All of these marine mammals make for attractive hunting grounds for big predators. The channel between these 2 rocky outcrops is known as Shark Alley and the most notorious of them all, the great white shark, is common here. With your expert team onboard, there's also a good chance of tracking a humpback or Bryde's whale. Relish the opportunity to catch sight of these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.
