Begin your journey at the very place where Albania declared its independence in 1912. Inside the National Museum of Independence, your guide will bring the birth of the Albanian nation to life through fascinating exhibits, original artefacts, and historical photographs. From there, head to Flag Square—the symbolic heart of the city—to stand beneath the towering Independence Monument that commemorates the national struggle for freedom.

Just a short walk away, step back in time at the Muradie Mosque. Built in 1542, this beautifully preserved Ottoman masterpiece is the work of Mimar Sinan, one of history's greatest architects.

As the tour continues into Vlorë’s historic Old Town, you will be charmed by its narrow cobblestone streets, colourful facades, and hidden courtyards. If demanded, a possible visit to Kuzum Baba, a saintly place overlooking the city.
