Experience the famous Benagil Cave from Vilamoura on a custom-built cave-entry boat designed to get you closer to the Algarve’s most spectacular sea caves. Unlike many larger, overcrowded boats that can only pass by the cave entrances, our boat is specially suited for entering selected caves safely when sea and weather conditions allow.
Depart from Vilamoura Marina and cruise west along one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in Portugal. Sit back in your own guaranteed individual seat and enjoy a more comfortable, organised, and personal experience from start to finish. There is no standing in a crowded space or fighting for a view — every guest has their own seat, giving you a better way to enjoy the cliffs, caves, beaches, and photo opportunities along the route.
Your experienced skipper will guide you along the Algarve coastline towards Benagil, passing golden cliffs, hidden beaches, natural arches, rock formations, and smaller sea caves along the way. The route is filled with incredible scenery, and your crew will share local knowledge while choosing the best and safest places to visit depending on the sea conditions on the day.
The highlight of the tour is the world-famous Benagil Cave, one of Portugal’s most iconic natural landmarks. When conditions allow, the boat will enter the cave so you can admire its dramatic dome, natural skylight, ocean entrance, and unique rock formations from inside the cave itself. This gives you a much more memorable view than simply passing outside on a larger boat.
During the journey, your crew will also keep watch for wild dolphins. Dolphin sightings are not guaranteed because they are free animals in their natural habitat, but the Algarve coast is known for regular encounters with common and bottlenose dolphins.
This tour is ideal for couples, families, friends, and anyone wanting a comfortable Benagil Cave boat trip from Vilamoura with cave entry, guaranteed seating, and a professional local crew. Between November and February, or depending on sea conditions and operational needs, the tour may operate on one of our smaller speed boats.
