What you can expect

  • Take on the Castillo de Hierro Via Ferrata in Pruna (Seville)—a fun, approachable introduction to vertical adventure in the heart of Andalusia. Designed as an easy K2 route, this experience is ideal if you’re trying a via ferrata for the first time and want to enjoy height safely, with expert support from start to finish.

Meet your certified guides at the agreed point in Pruna and get a thorough safety briefing before gearing up with approved technical equipment. Once clipped in, you’ll follow a protected route of metal rungs, steps, and fixed safety lines, steadily ascending towards the castle. Your guides will coach you on movement, clipping technique, and pacing, keeping the experience comfortable and confidence-building.

As you climb, the landscape opens up into wide mountain and countryside scenery. The reward comes at the top: breathtaking 360° views over the surrounding Andalusian countryside—an unforgettable moment that blends nature, history, and adrenaline in one panorama.
No previous climbing experience is required—just a sense of adventure and moderate fitness. Bring suitable outdoor clothing, and consider packing water and snacks to stay energised.
