This exciting 2-day Murchison Falls safari takes you to the northwest of Uganda, where you explore the country's largest, oldest, and most visited national park: Murchison Falls National Park.
Renowned for its dramatic landscapes and abundant wildlife, the park is named after its star attraction: the majestic Murchison Falls, where the mighty Nile River squeezes through a narrow gorge and plunges 45 metres below in a spectacular display of nature’s power.
The park is home to over 76 species of mammals, including elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, warthogs, hyenas, and a variety of antelope species such as Uganda kob, waterbuck, and hartebeest, among many others. It also hosts reptiles like the Nile crocodile and is a paradise for bird lovers, with over 450 bird species, including the shoebill stork, Goliath heron, Abyssinian ground hornbill, African fish eagle, and a wide range of kingfishers, weavers, and bee-eaters.
Murchison Falls offers an unforgettable blend of game viewing, scenic boat cruises, and breathtaking natural beauty — all packed into just two incredible days.

After the boat cruise, you’ll be transferred to your lodge for check-in and an overnight stay.
DAY 2: Morning Game Drive & Visit to the Top of the Falls
Wake up early for a morning game drive starting around 6:00 AM or earlier.
This is the best time to catch wildlife at its most active, especially the big cats such as lions and leopards, before they retreat from the morning sun. During the drive, you'll also have the opportunity to spot a variety of animals, including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and possibly hyenas, among many others.
The game drive will take you through several circuits, including the Delta Point, where the Nile flows into Lake Albert—another hotspot for birdwatching and wildlife sightings.
Afterwards, you’ll drive to the Top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile is forced through a narrow 7-meter gorge and plunges 45 metres down with thunderous power. This is a photographer’s paradise and a breathtaking conclusion to your safari.
Later in the afternoon, you will begin your return journey to Kampala, arriving in the evening.
