–ITINERARY:
DAY 1: DASHOGUZ - KONYE URGENCH - ASHGABAT
Arrive in Turkmenistan via the Shavat-Dashoguz land border. Complete visa formalities and transfer to Dashoguz city.
Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant (optional).
Drive to Konye Urgench town, (~110 km., ~2-hour drive)
- Explore the State Historical and Archaeological Park of Konye Urgench, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the ruins of the ancient capital of the Khorezm Empire, including the Turabek-Khanum Mausoleum, Kutlug-Timur Minaret, Mausoleum of Sultan Tekesh, Kyrk Molla, and the Mausoleum of Il-Arslan.
Return to Dashoguz for dinner in a local restaurant (optional).
Transfer to the domestic airport and catch an evening flight to Ashgabat.
Check into the 5-star YYLDYZ hotel (or similar) for an overnight stay.

DAY 2: ASHGABAT
After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Ashgabat including visits to:
- The ruins of the Ancient Nissa fortress (UNESCO),
- The Turkmenbashi Ruhy Mosque and family mausoleum of the first President of Turkmenistan.
Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant (optional).
- Continue to the National Museum of History and Ethnography of Turkmenistan,
- The Monument of Independence,
- The Arch of Neutrality,
- The Ertugrul Gazi Mosque (Reminiscent of Istanbul’s Blue Mosque)
- Explore the Gulistan fruit and vegetable market, also known as the Russian Bazaar.
After dinner (optional), take a city-by-night tour on the way to the hotel:
- The Monument to Arkadag
- A panoramic viewpoint near the Bagt Koshkgi wedding palace.
Return to the YYLDYZ hotel (or similar) for an overnight stay.

DAY 3: ASHGABAT - MARY - TURKMENABAD
After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport for a morning flight to Mary.
Drive to Bayramaly and visit:
- The State Historical and Archaeological Park of Ancient Merv (UNESCO) / Explore the ruined ancient cities of Merv and its archaeological monuments.
Drive to Turkmenabad, (239 km., ~4-hour drive)
Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant (optional)
Continue to the Turkmen-Uzbek border post Farap-Alat*
Complete custom formalities, passport control, and cross the border to Uzbekistan, heading towards Bukhara.
The border crossing will be available until 17:30. We strongly advise you to arrive at the border well in advance.
