Experience the Sámi way of life on a memorable visit from Tromsø. Travel to a traditional reindeer camp, meet Sámi reindeer herders, and feed a herd of reindeer—some may even eat from your hand.
Warm up inside a candle-lit lavvu with hot drinks, enjoy a traditional dinner featuring bidos (Sámi reindeer stew, with a vegetarian option available), and gather around the fire to hear stories of Sámi culture and a traditional joik performance. If conditions are right, you may even witness the Northern Lights above the camp.
