What you can expect

Learn to surf on the waves of Carcavelos Beach with a surf lesson. Choose from a group or private lesson, or rent a board and wetsuit to practice on your own.

Meet your instructor at the surf school, located on Carcavelos Beach, right in front of the Tricana Carcavelos Restaurant. Get equipped with a wetsuit and surfboard, and head to the beach to begin your lesson.

Learn the basics of surfing, including how to paddle, stand up, and catch a wave. Get tips from your instructor on how to improve your technique. After your lesson, rent a board and wetsuit to practice on your own.
