What you can expect

  • Pick-up from the Plaza de Armas in Chivay at 12:45 pm. We then begin our trip to the city of Puno, making stops along the route to enjoy the landscape and views of the Peruvian highlands.

    FIRST STOP: PATAPAMPA (Volcano vantage point, 4,800 metres). You'll be able to see the Andes mountain range and its active volcanoes, such as Sabancaya, Hualca Hualca, and Ampato.

    SECOND STOP: TOCRAPAMPA (national reserve area) where we can see the Andean camelids (llamas, alpacas, vicuñas) in their natural habitat

    THIRD STOP: LAGUNILLAS VANTAGE POINT. From this place, you can see the Andean Mountain Range and the high plateau. It is located at an altitude of 4,600 metres. We continue travelling for about 3 more hours to finally reach our final destination, the city of Puno, where we will arrive at the Main Square of Puno at approximately 7:30 PM.
