Your tasting journey begins: Step 1: Introduction & Welcome Drink Enjoy a traditional welcome drink, such as local plum brandy (țuică or pălincă), while your host introduces you to the culinary history of the Muscel region and the concept of the tasting experience. Step 2: Tasting of Local Delicacies You’ll be served a carefully selected platter of artisanal cheeses, cured meats (including smoked ham and sausages), homemade pickles, jams, and fresh bread. Each item is explained: its origin, how it’s made, and its role in local traditions. Step 3: Wine Pairing Alongside your food, you’ll sample local wines that complement the flavours of each dish. Our staff will guide you through the pairings and share insights about the wineries of the region. Step 4: Sweet Finish The tasting ends on a sweet note with a homemade dessert from our in-house pastry shop, Sweet Cakes, paired with coffee or tea. Step 5: Stories & Cultural Insights Throughout the experience, you’ll hear stories about the traditions of Câmpulung, the history of the Piatra Craiului brand, and how local ingredients reflect the spirit of the Muscel area.
