L'Escarelle in a nutshell: modernity at the service of nature.

Château de l'Escarelle is a winery nestled in a verdant setting in the Var department.
Our renovated winery is one of the most technologically advanced in Provence. The winery is equipped with state-of-the-art presses, a particularly meticulous sorting system, and a set of temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats, enabling high-quality winemaking. It gives our winemaker and our teams the rare privilege of showcasing their expertise and fully bringing out the richness of our terroir.

Our passionate team will explain to you in detail the journey of the grape from the vineyard to your glass. The tour will conclude with the most spectacular feature: our magnificent barrel cellar.

The second part of the experience on offer is a tasting of our wines.
With our wine merchant, you will learn the basics of appreciating, tasting, and sharing wine. Tasting is the pleasure of recognizing aromas, identifying flavours, describing the style of a wine, and sometimes determining its vintage or origin. The tasting then becomes a journey through our memory, through time, and through our regions. And that’s precisely what the wines of L’Escarelle embody: the estate now boasts over 300 years of history! Its wines have continued to evolve, carefully preserving within them the memory of the land.
