We will begin the tour by picking you up at your hotel in Arequipa at 9:00 a.m. From there we will go to some of the most beautiful viewpoints of the White City: Yanahuara, Carmen Alto and Sachaca. In them we will admire the incredible views of the Peruvian town with its three volcanoes in the background: Misti, Chachani and Pichu Pichu.
After visiting the viewpoints we will move to one of the most traditional districts of Arequipa, Cayma. This place is known for its spicy restaurants, establishments specialising in spicy food. In Cayma we will also have the opportunity to walk through its charming alleys and contemplate its 17th century church.
Our next stop will be in the historic centre, where we will see the neoclassical façade of the Arequipa Cathedral while the guide shows us other interesting details about this construction. Did you know that it was built with ashlar stone? Is awesome!
Later we will continue touring the old town of the city to go to the traditional markets of San Camilo and Fundo el Fierro, where you will find all kinds of typical craft products. You will love their stalls!
We will end the tour at 1:00 p.m. at your hotel in Arequipa or at the point in the city that you prefer.
