Join Rock The Boat Activities on a paddleboard adventure of the River Dart.
Each journey will showcase some of the most beautiful sections of the river, while paddling with the tide starting and finishing in the market town of Totnes.

Whether you are a seasoned paddler or you've never been on the water before this tour is suitable for you! Our guides are there to teach skills needed, show secret spots, showcase local wildlife, navigate the tides and even help spot some seals!
Paddleboards provide a fun and exciting way to explore the water, go for a swim and learn a new skill! Swimming experience is recommended but not required as we supply buoyancy aids and our expert instructors are there to help.

Upon arrival you will receive all the equipment needed and the guide will give a safety briefing and teach you all the skills needed to enjoy the tour.
You will then head out on the water and explore the river on one of our paddleboards, all while supported by one of our guides. Normally on one of our sessions we would reach Stoke Gabriel and then return to Totnes, however this is weather and tide dependant.
The guide will have a waterproof bag to be able to store car keys and valuables. If you would like to bring a phone, we recommend a waterproof case and a way to attach it securely.

There will be lots of opportunities for photos and your guide will be happy to take many photos along the way and share them with you after.
