What you can expect

This tour takes place on Tokashiki Island, part of the Kerama Islands National Park,
where you can enjoy snorkelling offshore from Tokashiku Beach, an area well known as a sea turtle habitat.
The clear water and rich marine life of this protected area make it a special place to experience the ocean.

This is a local tour starting on Tokashiki Island, with meeting at Tokashiki Port.
Ferry or high-speed ferry tickets between Naha and Tokashiki Island are not included,
and guests are required to arrange and book their own boat transport in advance.

After arriving at Tokashiki Port, staff will greet you at the port,
and you will be taken by a yellow shuttle bus to Marine House Tokashiku,
located directly in front of Tokashiku Beach.
The shuttle bus departs about 10 minutes after your ferry or high-speed boat arrives,
so please proceed directly to the bus upon arrival.
Because the port, facilities, and beach are close together, the tour is easy to join even for first-time visitors.

Unlike snorkelling close to shore, this tour uses a banana boat to go directly to an offshore snorkelling point.
The short transfer time allows you to quickly reach waters where coral reefs and tropical fish are more abundant,
so you can spend more time snorkelling and less time travelling.

The waters of the Kerama Islands National Park are known for their clarity, healthy coral reefs,
colourful tropical fish, and the chance to encounter sea turtles.
Whether you prefer floating calmly or actively swimming to explore underwater scenery,
this experience is rewarding for both beginners and experienced snorkellers.

During the snorkelling session, staff swim alongside guests while holding a large floating buoy.
Guests who are not confident swimmers can hold onto the float,
while more experienced swimmers are free to explore the surrounding area at their own pace.
Staff will take photos and videos with a GoPro,
and your data can be downloaded later from our website to keep or share your memories on social media.

After snorkelling, enjoy free time at Tokashiku Beach, known for its calm atmosphere.
You can relax on the sand or swim at your leisure.
Marine House Tokashiku offers convenient facilities such as showers and coin lockers,
allowing you to spend the rest of the day comfortably.

Lunch is available locally and can be purchased on-site.
Because the beach, facilities, and dining options are all nearby,
you do not need to plan a detailed schedule.
Arrive, enjoy the experience, and relax at your own pace.
Landing on the island and spending time at the beach is one of the unique highlights of this tour.

Please note that snorkelling points may change depending on sea conditions.
Sea turtles are wild animals, and sightings are not guaranteed.
For safety reasons, the tour may be cancelled if ocean conditions are deemed unsafe.
