Your adventure begins with a comfortable morning pickup from your hotel or designated meeting point in Tirana, Durrës, or Golem. As we set off on our journey, you’ll enjoy a picturesque drive through the Albanian countryside, passing rolling hills, charming villages, and the rugged landscapes of southern Albania. Along the way, our knowledgeable guide will share fascinating insights into Albania’s history, culture, and local traditions.
Our first stop is the coastal city of Saranda, a lively destination known for its palm-lined promenade and stunning views of the Ionian Sea. We’ll take a short break here, giving you the perfect opportunity to capture breathtaking photos of the city and its sparkling waters. While we won’t be staying long, you’ll get a taste of this vibrant seaside town before continuing our journey towards Ksamil.
After our brief stop in Saranda, we head to the highlight of the trip—Ksamil, one of Albania’s most beautiful beach destinations. Known for its white sandy shores and crystal-clear turquoise waters, Ksamil is a true paradise. Here, you’ll have free time to relax, sunbathe, or take a refreshing swim in the pristine sea.
For those who love exploring, you can rent a small boat or kayak to visit the nearby Ksamil Islands, a group of small, unspoiled islets just offshore. If you’re feeling hungry, you’ll also have the chance to enjoy a delicious seafood lunch at one of the beachfront restaurants (not included in the tour price).
After our relaxing time in Ksamil, we continue our journey inland to one of Albania’s most mesmerising natural attractions—the Blue Eye (Syri i Kaltër). This stunning freshwater spring is a deep, vivid blue, resembling an eye, and surrounded by lush greenery.
You’ll have time to admire the beauty of this magical place, take in the peaceful atmosphere, and walk along the wooden pathways for different viewpoints. The most daring visitors can even dip their feet in the ice-cold water, which remains at a constant temperature of 10°C (50°F) all year round!
After exploring the Blue Eye, we begin our return journey back to Tirana, Durrës, or Golem. As we drive through the scenic landscapes of southern Albania, you can sit back, relax, and reflect on the incredible experiences of the day. We’ll drop you off at your original pickup location, marking the end of a truly memorable adventure.
