Day 1: Arrival in Timimoun and Petit Tassili Sunset

Begin your adventure with a flight to Timimoun. Upon arrival, receive a warm welcome at the airport and transfer to your guesthouse or hotel. Check in and settle in with on-site assistance.

In the late afternoon, depart by 4x4 to visit the Petit Tassili. Stop to admire a breathtaking desert sunset, enjoying a glass of traditional tea. Spend the evening at leisure and overnight in the guesthouse or hotel.

Day 2: The Ksour Route and Grand Erg Occidental Dunes

After breakfast at the hotel, set off by 4x4 to explore the northwest Gourara ksour route. Visit a panoramic viewpoint over the ancestral village of Ighzer and its mysterious cave, the Ksar of Kali, famous for its pottery, and the traditional villages of Ouled Saïd and Fougara/Foggara.

Take a lunch break in the gardens, surrounded by nature in the oasis environment. Return to the guesthouse or hotel for rest and relaxation. In the late afternoon, enjoy a 4x4 ride to the Timimoun palm grove, then climb into the dunes of the Grand Erg Occidental.

Enjoy a spectacular sunset with tea prepared on the spot. End the day with a traditional dinner at the hotel and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Timimoun City Visit and Departure

After breakfast, enjoy a guided visit of Timimoun. Explore the local market, an inhabited ksar, and artisan shops for unique souvenirs. Visit the Capterre, a striking landmark of rammed-earth architecture, decorated with Berber-inspired motifs showcasing the oasis’ ancestral craftsmanship.

After lunch, transfer to Timimoun airport for your return flight.
