Here you can choose between two tours - one without and one with beer tasting*.

The basis of both tours is the guided tour through the brewery, which is combined in a unique way with virtual reality glasses. This literally gives you a whole new perspective on the brewing process.

If you decide on the tour with beer tasting* then our extra TimeRide tour awaits you afterwards, where you can also taste what you have experienced during the VR tour - namely a beer tasting in which you will taste different Andechs beers.

The monastery, with its long tradition, is experiencing a renaissance through its connection with virtual reality. It is particularly important to us to be authentic.

*Of course, children from the age of 6 and all under 18s are also catered for: delicious non-alcoholic drinks await you here.

Tip: Andechs Monastery can be reached in just over an hour by public transport. For example, take the S8 from the main train station in Munich to Hechendorf and change there to bus 928 in the direction of Kloster Andechs. By car it takes about 50 minutes from Munich. The brewery tour can therefore be easily integrated into a day trip from Munich. Food and drink is available on site: the Braustüberl is open from 11 am to 8 pm. You can also visit the impressive pilgrimage church and explore the Holy Mountain on a walk.
