  • Step back in time and see turn-of-the-century inventions and demonstrations from a lively, informative store clerk, butcher, and snake oil salesman—all in period costume. Your guides combine history and humour to captivate and entertain while you get a glimpse into life in the early 20th century.

See unusual inventions such as a goat-powered washing machine and gas-powered iron. The Oldest Store Museum has over 100,000 items in stock, many of them from the original C.F. Hamblin General Store. Learn how a 1-hole corn shucker works and get hands-on experience with bicycles, farming equipment, telephones, and even a musical instrument of the time.
