What you can expect

The savanna takes the stage during this majestic production of The Lion King. Sit back and settle in for an evening of award-wining songs—written by Tim Rice and Elton John—and be swept away in the moving tale of Simba, a young lion set to be king, yet struggling with an uncle’s evil intentions.

As the stage lights dim, the deep orange glow of a setting sun takes centre stage. Meet mystical Rafiki and the entire cast of African animals—brought to life by over 50 actors and dancers—as cub Simba is presented to his parents, King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi. The Pride Lands bursts with joy, and proudly sings “The Circle of Life” in celebration.

Watch in amazement when actors on towering stilts transform themselves into giraffes. Follow Scar—Mufasa’s power-hungry brother—into an elephant graveyard littered with skeletons, before experiencing Timon and Pumba's upbeat, easy-going life philosophy of “Hakuna Matata.”

Be mesmerised by the incredible life-size puppets, vivid imagery, and pulsating beats of the African pride lands, during this critically acclaimed portrayal of betrayal, love, and loyalty.
