What you can expect

Join an exciting excursion on the island of Elba. Explore the trails and dirt roads that criss-cross the island's granite-rich areas.

This journey through time begins at the San Piero sports field, where the last remaining stonemasons are still engaged in granite quarrying, and concludes with a loop route that returns to the same location.

The route is of particular historical and archaeological interest, as there are several ancient granite artefacts and prehistoric sites that can be seen along the trail.

There will be no shortage of breathtaking views and the scents of the Mediterranean scrub, which is rich in shrubs such as fragrant rosemary, lavender, and broom.

Along the way, you'll get to see the Moncione Mill, one of the largest and most beautiful mills on the island of Elba, Marco's hut, the most picturesque and captivating goat farm, and
the Roman columns scattered along the trail.
