Upon arrival at Puerto Maldonado, you will be picked up from the airport, bus station, or your hotel and transferred to our office. From there, we depart along the Madre de Dios River to take you to our lodge (40 minutes). Upon arrival, a welcome with a refreshing local fruit juice and accommodation in your private lodge. After settling in, we enjoy a delicious lunch before departing to visit the famous Monkey Island. Here, you will have the chance to observe and interact with local monkey families in their natural habitat. Our guide will teach you how to call the monkeys and offer safe fruits such as bananas, allowing for a truly immersive wildlife experience. Upon returning to the lodge, a night excursion to spot caimans along the river. Learn about the nocturnal wildlife of the Amazon while observing these fascinating reptiles in their natural environment. After, return to the lodge for dinner, followed by an optional night walk to experience the jungle sounds and wildlife.
