    Experience the “Fiery Heart” of Yunnan on this 5-day immersive private tour of Tengchong. Located on the edge of the Himalayan range, this region offers a rare blend of volcanic geological wonders, ancient Silk Road culture, and pivotal WWII history.

    Day 1: Welcome to the High-Altitude Paradise Arrive in Tengchong (Tuofeng Airport), where your private guide welcomes you to this border city. Transfer to your hotel and spend the evening acclimatising to the altitude (1,600m). Take a leisure walk through the town to sip Pu'er tea and breathe in the fresh mountain air.

    Day 2: Fire & Earth – Geothermal Wonders & Volcanoes Start at the Rehai Geothermal Park, a UNESCO-listed site famous for its “Big Boiling Pot.” Witness steam rising from 96°C waters and enjoy the local ritual of boiling eggs directly in the volcanic springs. In the afternoon, hike to the crater of Dakongshan in the Volcanic Geopark for panoramic views of the “Empty Mountains” and ancient lava flows frozen in time.

    Day 3: Into the Wild – Gaoligong Mountain Trek Explore the Gaoligong Mountain Biosphere Reserve, known as the “Gene Bank of Asia.” Trek through moss-draped trails past the Seven-Colored Waterfall and lush primeval forests. Enjoy a unique “Volcanic Stone BBQ” lunch featuring organic farm-to-table ingredients. End the day soaking in a secluded forest hot spring, surrounded by misty peaks to relax your muscles.

    Day 4: Timeless Charm – Heshun Old Town & WWII History Visit the Western Yunnan War Memorial to pay tribute to the Allied forces and the Flying Tigers who fought here during WWII—a touching connection between China and the West. Later, immerse yourself in Heshun Old Town, a 600-year-old stop on the Tea Horse Road. Visit China's oldest rural library, wander willow-lined canals, and see locals living a lifestyle unchanged for centuries.

    Day 5: Farewell to the Volcanic City Enjoy a final breakfast before your transfer to the airport. Depart with memories of misty volcanoes, healing hot springs, and the heroic stories of the Flying Tigers.
