1. Convento de Cristo (1h 30min): Visit the iconic Convento de Cristo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former headquarters of the Knights Templar in Portugal. Explore the Charola, the ornately decorated circular oratory, the Main Cloister and the Manueline Window, one of the most impressive in the country. This monument combines Gothic, Renaissance, Manueline and Baroque elements, reflecting centuries of history. 2. Mata dos Sete Montes (30min): A large forested park that served as a leisure area for the Templar monks. The park is perfect for connecting with nature, offering peaceful views and welcoming shade. 3. Praça da República and Igreja de São João Baptista (30min): The heart of Tomar, where you will find the Igreja de São João Baptista, a 15th-century Gothic church. The square is surrounded by historic buildings. 4. Tomar Synagogue (30min): Tomar Synagogue, the oldest preserved Portuguese synagogue.

Explore the church, cloisters, the Founder's Chapel and the Imperfect Chapels, admire the stained glass windows and the tomb of Prince Henry the Navigator. 3. Tour of the Historic Centre (30 minutes): After visiting the monastery, take a short walk through Batalha's historic centre. Explore the picturesque streets and discover the local shops, with their craft shops and regional products.
Alcobaca

1. Alcobaça Monastery (1h 30min): Visit the imposing Monastery of Santa Maria de Alcobaça, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This Cistercian monastery, founded in 1153, is one of the most important and best preserved in Portugal. Explore the grand church, which houses the famous tombs of Pedro and Inês de Castro, the eternal Portuguese lovers whose tragic love storey is famous. Tour the cloisters, the refectory, the monumental kitchen and the monks' room, all examples of Cistercian Gothic architecture. The serene atmosphere and architectural beauty make this place one of the most emblematic in Portugal. 2. Tour of the Historic Centre (30min): After visiting the monastery, we will explore the historic centre of Alcobaça. Walk through Praça 25 de Abril, which offers a beautiful view of the monastery and is surrounded by shops and cafes. If time permits, we will try the typical convent sweets, such as egg rolls or cornucopias, which reflect the gastronomic tradition of the region.

Visit to the Church of Santa Maria and the Castle of Óbidos and its walls (1H45): Santa Maria Square, the heart of the village, where the Church of Santa Maria is located. This church, with its Renaissance architecture and beautiful tiles, was the scene of the wedding of King Afonso V and his cousin Isabel in 1441, when both were still children. After visiting the church, we continue on to the Castle of Óbidos, one of the best examples of medieval military architecture in Portugal. Explore the imposing walls of Óbidos, which surround the village and offer stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape 3. Ginjinha Tasting (15min): Finish your visit with a stop at one of the local taverns to taste the famous Ginjinha de Óbidos, a cherry liqueur traditionally served in chocolate cups. This is an unmissable experience that combines the sweet taste of the drink with the charm of the village.
