Departure from Tavira, the jewel of the eastern Algarve:
Visit the typical alleys, the castle ruins, its panoramic garden, then stroll by the Roman Bridge, the Republic Square and the Mercado Municipal, the true beating heart of the city.
Head to the Tavira salt pans by bike:
A unique landscape where saltwater pools, salt mounds, and migratory birds, including elegant flamingos, intertwine.

This village, frozen in time, offers breathtaking views of the Ria Formosa lagoon. A place full of history and poetry, Cacela invites you to slow down.
Take a nature break at Parque de Lazer de Conceição de Tavira:
A small green setting for a moment of freshness and calm in the countryside (open on weekends until June 20, then every day except Mondays).
Head back to Tavira and hop on a boat to Ilha de Tavira:
After all that effort, it's time to relax! Boat crossing to the island for a relaxing afternoon on one of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve.
