What you can expect

Day 1:

This day will begin with pickup from the airport or terminal, to board a boat that will take us to the Tambopata National Reserve. We will be sailing on the Tambopata and Madre de Dios rivers, this will be an unforgettable journey where we will arrive at our accommodation.

Once we arrive we will be able to taste the local food. The first activity we will do this day will be to visit Monkey Island, this is a rescue centre that was created to care for primates that are in a state of vulnerability. We will be able to meet all the species of monkeys that live on this island and we will be able to interact with them.
We will return to the accommodation and at night we will take a night walk through the area and go in search of white caimans, we will also be able to observe the capybara, which is the largest rodent in the world. Finally we will return to the hotel and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Day 2:

This day will begin with breakfast at the hotel and we will begin a walk through the tropical jungle until we reach Lake Sandoval, which is one of the largest in the Tambopata National Reserve and is also famous for being the habitat of piranhas. We will tour the lake by boat and observe the different species that live.
After this journey we will return to the accommodation to rest and eat something. At night we will take a walk to admire the great diversity of nocturnal animal species that live in this area. Finishing we will return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 3:

This day we will get up very early to take a short route along the Canopy Walk-Way, this is a series of walkways that are 30 metres high that will give us an unforgettable perspective of all the nature of the Peruvian jungle.
From these platforms we will see different species of birds such as toucans, macaws, tanagers. At the end of this activity we will return to the accommodation to have breakfast and continue with our next adventure.

Our next adventure will be the zip line circuit and we will slide between the jungle trees at more than 30 metres high. Finishing we will return to the hotel to eat.

In the afternoon, a kayak tour will take place along the Madre de Dios River, we will be able to enjoy all its Amazonian beauty. We will also contemplate an incredible sunset to close the day.
Finally, this day we will end with dinner and resting at the hotel.

Day 4:

On this day we will get up early and travel by boat, we will go to see the largest macaw clay lick in the world, where 11 species of macaws gather in search of clay to improve their metabolism. In this place we can take many photographs, then we will return to the accommodation to eat.

In the afternoon we will visit an indigenous family who will show us the daily activities and customs that have been maintained since ancient times, it will be a cultural exchange.

Day 5:

This will be our last day of our entire tour, we will have breakfast at the hotel and begin our return to the city of Puerto Maldonado.
