Starting from San Vito di Cadore, the trail climbs towards Rifugio Scotter following part of the famous Alta Via 3 route, surrounded by forests, ski slopes, and panoramic views over the Boite Valley. Throughout the hike, guests are accompanied by spectacular views of Antelao, one of the highest peaks in the Eastern Dolomites, together with the Sorapiss group and iconic glimpses of Mount Pelmo. Before reaching the refuge, there is the possibility to explore different alpine environments away from the main trails, crossing forests, high-altitude meadows, and rocky areas rich in wildlife and alpine flora. Once at Rifugio Scotter Palatini, we stop for a traditional mountain dinner while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of sunset in the Dolomites. The return journey follows “La Rota”, a beautiful forest trail walked under the moonlight and stars, offering a truly unique and immersive mountain experience.
