This Science Park was established at Wa Ko in 1989 to commemorate King Monkut (King Rama IV), who is regarded as the Father of Thai Science Study. In 1968 the King made a trip to Wa Ko to witness an eclipse of the sun after his astronomical forecast. A science museum with many sections for youth education, an Aquarium and a butterfly Garden situated in the compound can be visited every day.

Ao Manao Beach (Manao means Lemon in Thai) is inside a military base. This Area being open to the public. Located 5 km from the city centre, this is the nicest swimming beach in Prachuap Khiri Khan. Wedged between two mountains, it is very quiet during the week but a lot more crowded on weekends and holidays when many Thais come here. Then all the area comes alive with food centers, shops, long chair rental shops and large knotted rental shops and activity centers. There is also right next to the aeroplane runway, an area that is called Historical Park and mainly show some old planes. We will have lunch near the Beach and you will have some time to relax on the Beach or swimming in the nice and clear Water
