During the tour, we visited 6 local businesses. and enjoy a dish that each is famous for. We'll meet the vendors and hear their stories as well as learning how Stockport is transforming from a sleepy satellite town to one of the most talked about areas in the North. Full of amazing street art and weird and wonderful history, the Stockport food tour is a great way to explore a new town and be introduced to award winning flavours and tastes.

Activity itinerary

St Petersgate Bridge

Not just a bridge, this street contains some real hidden gems of Stockport's food and drink scene. We'll be popping in to locally run businesses to say hello and try some amazing flavours and bites along our route.

Stockport Victorian Market Hall

What was once an old Produce hall is now one of the North West's best food markets. We'll enjoy a reserved seat as we feast on dishes from a few of the local vendors. It's a fascinating building that has retained a lot of its old worldly charms and has become a focal point for the local community.

Stockport

We traverse the cobbled streets of the old town and visit locally run, independent food and drink vendors. Led by our guide we'll enjoy a leisurely stroll through the town centre. Stopping at some of our favourite eating and drinking places.
