What you can expect

Spend a winter day learning the basics of cross country skiing in a relaxed and friendly setting at Lida, just south of Stockholm. This 6 hour trip is perfect for beginners and anyone curious to try something new in a classic Swedish environment.

We start by driving from Södermalm to Lida, a forest area known for its reliable winter conditions. The local ski track is 2.3 km long, wide, and snow secure thanks to stored snow. If there is fresh natural snowfall, we will practice deeper into the forest for a more authentic experience.

Your instructor helps you get comfortable on skis, teaches the essential techniques, and supports you as you improve at your own pace. The tour is easy, active, and suitable for anyone with normal fitness.

Around the halfway point, we gather at a fire for a warm outdoor lunch before continuing the skiing session. And after lunch, you can choose between extra practice time or a visit to the sauna on site. The sauna is optional.
