What you can expect

  • Step into the eerie side of city centre St. John’s on this haunted pub crawl. Downtown’s Old Haunts is a journey into Newfoundland’s Creepy Culture, exploring the history, superstitions, tragedies, and strange experiences that linger to weave frights and folklore through some of the oldest streets in North America.

Along the way, you'll visit three pubs where you can settle your nerves with a drink (or two - we won't judge). Your guide will weave frights and folklore through the history, tragedies, and unexplained happenings that have shaped this city for centuries. Some stories are dark. Some are strange. Some will make you question what exactly you just walked past.

St. John's has been keeping secrets for a very long time. Come find out what's lurking after dark.
