The distillery was founded in 1824 by George Smith as a legal distillery, making it perhaps the first licensed one in that area of the Highlands. Glenlivet is one of the most widely recognised single malt Scotch brands internationally. The ticket for the distillery tour must be purchased separately as it is not included in the Speyside Whisky Private Tour's price. Approximate price: £30.00 per person

The GlenAllachie Distillery

Established in 1967, initially, GlenAllachie produced whisky primarily for blends. However, under new leadership since 2017, GlenAllachie has shifted focus to producing exceptional single malt Scotch whiskies.
