Day 0 – Transfer from Hanoi to Ha Giang
Option 1: Depart 21:00 from Hanoi Old Quarter by VIP sleeper bus, arriving 04:00. Rest at our hotel before starting the loop.
Option 2 (+1 day): Daytime limousine bus to Ha Giang, arriving early afternoon. Visit Thon Tha Village to explore stilt houses and Tay ethnic culture among lush rice fields.
Day 1 – Ha Giang to Du Gia
Start 08:30, ride through Bac Sum Pass and Quan Ba Heaven Gate for panoramic views. Stop at Twin Mountains viewpoint, swim in a natural infinity pool in a H’Mong village, and enjoy a local lunch. Visit Lung Tam weaving village to see traditional brocade making. Continue via Duong Thuong and Lung Ho valleys to Du Gia, explore rice terraces and Tay stilt houses, and try buffalo feeding. End the day swimming at Du Gia Waterfall. Dinner and overnight at a Tay homestay with “happy water” corn wine.
Day 2 – Du Gia to Nho Que River
Ride past Mau Due rice terraces to Ban Ang Stream for a scenic raft lunch and swimming. Pass the M-shaped curve and Happiness Road. Cruise the Nho Que River, admiring the Tu San Canyon – the deepest in Southeast Asia. Overnight in a riverside homestay, with optional kayaking or fishing. Enjoy a fresh fish dinner and karaoke under the stars.
Day 3 – Dong Van to Ha Giang
Visit Ma Pi Leng Pass Skywalk for epic views of the Nho Que River. On weekends, explore Dong Van Market with colourful ethnic groups. Tour the Vuong Palace (H’Mong King’s Palace), then visit Sung La Valley, Chin Khoanh Pass, and Tham Ma Slope. Lunch at Yen Minh Wind Pass. Stop at Point 168 for drinks and photos, then Thai An Waterfall for coffee. Arrive in Ha Giang City around 16:30 to end your unforgettable Ha Giang Loop journey.
