What you can expect

Important initial notes
The products we've picked are fresh, local, and top-notch. To meet quality standards, we keep a close eye on seasonality. This means that depending on the season, there may be slight variations in the tasting experience, ensuring that the products aren't greenhouse-grown but truly fresh.
Plus, this isn't just a cultural tasting tour, but also an intense gastronomic journey that equals a proper lunch. Don't book lunch after us; you'll leave with a full belly!

Tour Menu and Programme:

Meet at the designated meeting point

Introduction to the tour and the history of the products offered: the history of the Sorrento tomato and its specific organoleptic qualities, Caprese salad, the cultivation of the Ninucciola olives, and the flavoured oils offered during the tasting.

Then, we'll move on to the tasting:
Caprese salad, made with Sorrento tomatoes and mozzarella, dressed with local flavoured oil and fresh basil. All accompanied by a tasting of balsamic vinegar and selected flavoured olive oils (classic extra virgin olive oil, chilli pepper oil, or oil flavoured with lemon or basil).
You can dress your Caprese salad to your liking, using the PDO oils included in the tasting.
Then, we'll have a tasting of typical local products:
A selection of cured meats (prosciutto crudo, Neapolitan salami, pancetta, and capocollo), olives, a selection of dried cheeses, walnuts, and dried tomatoes, accompanied by fresh bread and a selection of truffle spreads served on crostini.

We'll then head to a small garden near the tasting location to see the Sorrento and Amalfi lemons up close and learn more about their specific organoleptic qualities.

We'll then head back to the tasting spot for a detailed explanation of the history and production methods of limoncello, showing the different stages and infusion processes. We'll then move on to the tasting of limoncello and other traditional liqueurs (lemon cream, melon or pistachio alcoholic cream),
accompanied by a small dessert or a small babà soaked in rum, limoncello, coffee liqueur, or mandarin liqueur.
