Step away from the crowded ski slopes and immerse yourself in the pristine winter wilderness of Bakuriani, Georgia's oldest and most historic winter resort. Established back in 1935, this region has long been famous for its crystal-clear air and the healing qualities of its alpine climate. This guided snowshoe tour perfectly blends rich local heritage with active outdoor adventure.
Your journey begins with a scenic cable car ride, lifting you effortlessly above the tree line. At the top, you will strap on your snowshoes and follow your expert guide through the fresh powder snow. Along the way, you will pause at spectacular viewpoints designed to capture postcard-perfect photos against the backdrop of the dramatic Caucasus Mountains.
A cultural highlight of the tour is trekking through an ancient, secluded mountain village where traditional alpine architecture sleeps under thick blankets of snow. To wrap up your adventure, you will stop at a charming mountain hut to warm up with hot drinks, rest your legs, and share stories with your fellow travellers before heading back.
