Activity itinerary

Embark on a journey to the ice cap of Mýrdalsjökull glacier. At your arrival to the base, you will be fitted with an insulated cover-all, helmet and a balaclava face mask. When you are all geared up and ready you will step into a glacier lorry that will drive you to to the snowmobiles. (1 hour each way) Your professional snowmobile guide will show you how to manoeuvre a snowmobile and then you head off on to the ice cap. You will spend about 1 hour on snowmobile driving around the ice cap, stopping at spectacular photo stops and educational and fun tellings from the guide.
