What you can expect
Our Snowdonia Tour is by far our most popular offering as it allows visitors to experience many of the highlights of North Wales in a single day. On this tour you'll visit iconic castles, picturesque villages and beautiful scenery. You will also travel off the beaten track, along lazy winding country lanes that the majority of visitors to North Wales, never get to see. So come and experience for yourself a land of myth, legend and tradition, all set against the backdrop of a truly beautiful and spectacular natural landscape. As we only take small groups of up to six guests at a time, we are able to offer a more relaxed and personal touring experience, without the 'hustle and bustle' associated with larger touring parties. We understand that this may be the only time you visit North Wales and our 'no-rush' approach ensures that you get the very best experience possible. Please find below the highlights of North Wales that you can enjoy on our Snowdonia Tour:
The iconic Caernarfon Castle is a magnificent example of a well preserved medieval fortress, which occupies a prime waterfront location in the town. Come and explore this fine example of medieval engineering and discover the history of this imposing and impressive castle.
The small riverside town of Conwy is a popular attraction for visitors to North Wales. As well as being a charming medieval town it also boasts the famous Conwy Castle and it's surrounding walls, which have watched over Conwy since the 13th century. The best way to truly appreciate the castle and the town is for us to leave the car for a while and take a walk along the historic walls, where you will be treated to great views of Conwy Castle and the surrounding area. Whilst in Conwy you can also visit Great Britain’s Smallest House!
Llanberis Slate Museum offers a unique insight into the history of what was once North Wales most important industry, slate mining. The museum is set in a former working quarry and here you can learn about the lives of the quarrymen and their families by visiting cottages which time has forgotten and see for yourselves how this industry altered the landscape forever.
A visit to North Wales wouldn't be complete without a visit to the village with the longest place name in Europe. We will take you to see the railway station with the famous sign and you can have your photograph taken below it and see if you can say it!
All this and more on a Snowdonia Tour!
