What you can expect

  • Cook Island, a short boat ride from the Gold Coast, is a fantastic spot for snorkelling enthusiasts of all skill levels. Its clear, shallow waters are brimming with diverse marine life, including playful turtles, elegant stingrays, colourful fish, and even the occasional leopard shark during summer. Perfect for exploring vibrant underwater ecosystems in a relaxed setting.

    Adventure Features:
Our team provides a full safety briefing, equipment fitting where required and professional crew supervision, with in-water support available. Mask, snorkel, fins and a wetsuit if required are included at no extra charge.
No previous snorkelling experience is required, but participants must be confident swimming in open water. Competent snorkellers may explore independently within the designated snorkelling area, subject to conditions and crew approval.
Relax on board with light refreshments before returning to Tweed Heads and travelling back to our Miami dive centre.
The overall experience takes approximately 5–7 hours. Departures may be dedicated to snorkelling or share the vessel with divers, with activities briefed and supervised separately. Water time varies with sea conditions, participant comfort and the day’s operating plan.
