What you can expect

Raffles Place:The experience begins at Raffles Place, where guests meet their local guide in Singapore’s financial district and receive an introduction to the city’s history, multicultural society, and MRT system. Before boarding the train, the guide shares stories about local life, Singlish expressions, housing culture, and why public transport plays such an important role in everyday Singaporean life.

Chinatown:The group then travels by MRT to Chinatown, where guests explore heritage streets, traditional shophouses, and colourful murals while learning about early Chinese immigrants and the foundations of modern Singapore. The tour also includes a visit to Buddha Tooth Relic Temple before stopping at Maxwell Food Centre, where travellers can try local dishes and discover why Singapore’s hawker culture is internationally famous.

Little India:After lunch, the journey continues to Little India, where the atmosphere changes completely with spice shops, flower garlands, temples, and vibrant street life. While walking through the district, the guide explains Indian culture, religion, migration history, and local traditions before visiting Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple and taking a short tea break at Tekka Centre.
The tour then moves to Kampong Glam, Singapore’s historic Malay-Arab district, where guests discover Islamic architecture, street art, cafés, and traditional textile shops. During the walk through Arab Street and Haji Lane, the guide shares stories about Malay culture, Arab traders, and modern Singaporean youth culture before stopping near Sultan Mosque for a relaxed cultural discussion and coffee break.

Marina Bay:As evening approaches, the group heads to Marina Bay, where Singapore’s modern skyline provides a dramatic contrast to the historical districts visited earlier in the day. While walking along the waterfront near the Merlion and Gardens by the Bay, guests learn how Singapore transformed into a global city before ending the experience with the city’s famous night views and waterfront atmosphere.
