This is a small group tour with a maximum capacity of 8 passengers.
Enjoy a scenic, half-day tour visiting Ko Samui's most interesting sites: temples, a shimmering white-sand beach and monkeys picking coconuts from treetops!
Our first stop will be the Big Buddha Temple, Samui's most famous landmark. The modern Big Buddha Temple, a famous place for meditation, is located on Fan Island (the small island near Koh Samui), so visitors will experience peace when visiting the temple. There are souvenir stalls, shops and restaurants at this site should you wish to purchase something.
After the Big Buddha Temple, we will visit the ornate Plai Leam Temple. This is also a famous place for visitors due to its beautiful architecture such as the floating main hall and the Happy Buddha.
Finally we will head to Chaweng Beach, the island's busiest and biggest town, either to spend free time in the town, shopping, or to simply relax and enjoy the beautiful golden sandy beach. There are plenty of bars and restaurants on the beach.
This tour involves approximately 1 1/2 hours of walking and steps to be negotiated at the temple (if you do not wish to climb the stairs at the Big Buddha, there are still wonderful views from the bottom of the steps to take your photographs).
As this tour visits places of worship, please dress respectfully: no bare shoulders, tight or revealing clothing, or exposed knees or ankles. Footwear must be removed before entering temples.
At the end of the tour, you will be taken back to the cruise port in plenty of time for your cruise ships departure.
