Your adventure begins at 07:30 AM in Shkodra, departing from the meeting point near Hotel Rozafa. You board a comfortable minibus and head north through dramatic landscapes, winding roads lined with rivers, remote villages, and untouched wilderness.

After 1.5 hours, you arrive at Koman Port and step aboard the ferry for one of the most breathtaking boat rides in the Balkans. The 80-minute Lake Koman cruise takes you through towering limestone cliffs rising above emerald-green water, hidden bays, and fjord-like scenery that rivals Norway. Every bend reveals a jaw-dropping view, have your camera ready.
At 10:50 AM, the boat docks at Shala River, one of Albania's best-kept secrets. A pristine canyon of crystal-clear turquoise water carved between white limestone cliffs and dense forest. Unlike most tours, you have over 5 full hours here.
Swim in impossibly clear water, hike riverside trails with elevated canyon views, relax in a hammock, or enjoy a long lunch at a traditional Albanian riverside restaurant, fresh grilled fish, local meats, and cold drinks at the water's edge (meals available to purchase, not included).
At 16:00, the boat departs towards Fierzë Port, a calm 100-minute ride through canyon landscapes as afternoon light shifts across the cliffs. Upon arrival, a 45-minute minibus transfer winds through pine forests and jagged alpine peaks towards your final destination.
At 18:45, you arrive in Valbona Valley, surrounded by the soaring peaks of the Accursed Mountains and crisp mountain air, the legendary gateway to the Peaks of the Balkans trail and one of the most beautiful places in the Balkans.

Optional: Guests wishing to overnight at Shala River can use the same ticket for the return journey the following day. Please inform us in advance. Accommodation and meals not included but available locally.
