This 6 hr tour includes a 90-minute Japanese Tea plantation visit at Moriuchi Tea Farm in Shizuoka City.

Moriuchi Tea Farm is run by a husband and wife team who are the ninth-generation owners of the farm, it has been in existence since the Edo Period. They are passionate about passing down their knowledge to others and preserving their family's heritage. You can explore a green tea plantation, try their unique brewed tea, and relax on the lookout with spectacular views of Mt. Fuji.

Before your Tea Farm visit, you will go on a tour with our licensed guide in Shizuoka City. Your tour also includes a private vehicle and driver for the duration of the tour. You can customise your tour directly with the guide after placing your reservation.

Kunozan Toshogu Shrine

he shrine has a history of over 400 years, and enshrines Lord Tokugawa Ieyasu, who founded the Tokugawa Shogunate in 1603 that brought peace to Japan for 265 years. The beautifully decorated shrine buildings were designated as a National Treasure in 2010.
Sumpu Castle Park

The park grounds were once the location of Sumpu Castle, built by Tokugawa Ieyasu (1542–1616) in the late sixteenth century. All that remains of the original castle are some stone retaining walls, the stone foundations of the main tower, and portions of the moats.
Shizuoka Sengen Shrine

Shizuoka Sengen Shrine is the name for a collective group of three shrines, the Kambe Shrine, Sengen Shrine, and Ohtoshimioya Shrine. It was worshiped as the Suruga Province Soja, and received the veneration of Tokugawa in the Edo era. The grand and brilliant main buildings are richly coloured in urushi coating. 26 buildings have been designated as a national important cultural property.

Toro Site is an archaeological site of a settlement dating back the Late Yayoi period, some 2,000 years ago. The site was discovered during the construction of a munitions factory in 1943, at the time of World War II. Thanks to the tireless efforts of everyone involved, an excavation was carried out in a short period of time. The discovery elicited considerable attention from academic associations, and it was the first time remains of rice paddy fields from Yayoi period were found in Japan. After World War II, a full-scale excavation was carried out from 1947 to 1950. In addition to unearthing a large number of artefacts such as earthenware and wooden implements, the excavation revealed that the settlement consisted of a dwellings area, with remains of houses, storehouses, and other structures, and a rice paddy area. This played a role in establishing the image of Yayoi people being wet rice farmers.
